THE NEXUS PROJECT

Ronnie Fieg has recently teamed up Sebago and an impressive team of bloggers to release a fresh footwear collection dropping this summer called the Nexus Project. What makes this project special is that each participant traveled to the Dominican Republic to work side-by-side with Sebago craftsmen, designing each shoe by hand.

Ronnie Fieg is one someone I greatly admire for his work in footwear design and his work ethic in general. There aren't many people with a catalog as impressive as Fieg's. It's like he never stops working! Once one project drops, another is announced. He proves that with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. I hope I can meet up with him when I'm in New York next month. We'll see!

SUPRA | SPRING 2010

I've never been a huge fan of Supra Footwear, but I'm pretty excited for their Spring collection. I give them my seal of approval.

Thunder - Jim Greco's signature model. Greco has always been one of my all time favorites. His part in BAKER2G is ridiculous! These shoes are definitely legit.

Cuban 1.5 - In addition to the four new colorways, the new versions of the Cuban come with leather laces and yes...you still get the chain too.

Bandit - Tom Penny's new signature model. These three colorways should be dropping soon, along with the rest of the new models. Yeah, I know suede doesn't get along too well with the wet weather, but this is California! If it's raining this week, it'll be sunny and dry next week. No excuses!
